Water Balloons...
Our kids were gifted a pack of water balloons from a fun-loving aunt and uncle, where all you have to do is hook them up to the hose, turn it on and they ALL fill up- voila! Let's just say that David and I a little fun right along with the kids...

Twin Peaks Bible Camp
The kids and Aimee are spending two weeks (with a week off in between) at Twin Peaks Bible Camp this summer. The camp is up on the Grand Mesa- and so lovely and green and temperate!!! That also translates into LOTS of mosquitoes, unfortunately. The camp just lost its chapel to heavy snow and high winds this past February, so they are in the process of getting the details worked out- between insurance, architects, and building codes- to get a new one put up. Right now it is flat dirt spot, where trees are already growing!

A purple sock monkey lives on the nurse's desk.
Stinging nettle... check out those mean little stinging hairs on the leave stem.
Despite the sting, it has great benefits as an herb!
