Splash Park in Loveland, Sept 5

Here's what you do if you get home on a Sunday evening, it's plenty warm outside and you don't really feel like being in the house just yet: You find that splash park that's just 15 minutes away (plus, you've been meaning to find it all summer). Top that off with this being the last weekend it will be open until Spring 2011- s0 better now or never!

This splash area is at the Loveland Sports Park off from Hwy 34 just west of Centerra. You push a button on the ground below the windmill sculpture, and the thing starts raining on you. The splash area cycles through about 8-10 minutes worth of various spray and splashing devices before turning off.

We are not descendants of monkeys, but...

...we get to have just as much fun!

This cute, little monkey doesn't swing quite like the others.

This one, however, is well on his way!
