Notable Conversations

Recently, Silas spent a day with Daddy "on-the-job." Their errands took them to Lowes (an all-purpose home and lumber store). While checking out, the sales clerk struck up a conversation with Silas.

Clerk: "So, what are you going to be for Halloween?"

Silas: "We don't celebrate Halloween. It's Satan's holiday."

Clerk: "Well, we didn't celebrate Halloween as kids, either. It's okay to be different. Do you celebrate Christmas?"

Silas: "Yeah, that's when we celebrate Jesus."

David's thought on this is: If only we had more child evangelists! Or rather, if only we had the honesty of children.
