Is it really January? We are enjoying weather in the upper 60's today ( the web currently says 68-degrees F). After a picnic lunch at the park, we came home to settle in for rest time, but couldn't resist a little more time outside with sidewalk chalk. Ironically, the older two got dirty while "skating" on the ice in the little turtle pool out back. Given the fact that there's still ice in places (like over half of the ponds at the parks) and snow in the shady spots (like our front yard), it must still be January. Still, one can't help but to compare it to a really nice summer day in Ketchikan...
